Welcome to the Food Access Research and Engagement Partnership (FARE), a community engagement project housed by the Center for Public Policy and the University of Massachusetts.

VISION

The FARE Partnership convenes scholars, community partners, policymakers, and students to create multidisciplinary initiatives that promote healthier, more sustainable, and equitable food systems, from production to consumption.

MISSION

The FARE Partnership promotes healthier, more sustainable and equitable food systems by developing and informing programs and policies at all levels of the food system, from local to global. The Partnership is a bridge between the campus and the broader community, linking the teaching and research capacity of the University of Massachusetts/Amherst with diverse community partners and decision-makers.
