Students and teachers may now be eligible to get Office 365 for free directly from Microsoft.

How to get it:

1. Follow this link – http://www.office.com/getoffice365

2. Scroll down to the green “Find out if you’re eligible” button and click it.

3. Enter your school email address (netID@umass.edu) and hit enter to test your email.

4. Microsoft will then send you a confirmation email with a link to complete the signup.

That link will take you to a page where you can download the installer for Office 365.

Install it and you’re ready to go!
