TABE CLAS-E Writing

On this page, you may download supplementary resources to the TABE CLAS-E Writing Administration Training (online). The training was developed by the Center for Educational Assessment (CEA) at the University of Massachusetts Amherst for Adult Education programs funded by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

After completing the CLAS-E Writing Administration training, practitioners are certified to administer both the multiple-choice and expository writing portions of the assessment. They are also eligible to become certified CLAS-E Writing scorers. To register for an online-facilitated CLAS-E Writing Scoring training, please visit our Training & Event Calendar blog page or check the SABES calendar.

If you already attended a CLAS-E Writing Scoring training and would like digital copies of the materials provided in the CLAS-E Writing Scoring binders, please email us at aclstesthelp@umass.edu.
