“MASSPIRG interns earn course credit by working on research projects or campaigns. The purpose of the internship program is to provide the opportunity to take education out of the classroom, to do hands-on work, learn important skills, and make a direct impact on public interest issues. On each of its college campuses, MASSPIRG campaigns work closely with university faculty to offer course credit internships that combine classroom learning with hands on experience. MASSPIRG offers internships on all of its campaigns. Next semester MASSPIRG is working to get Massachusetts towards zero waste policy, fight hunger and homelessness, weatherize local homes, teach kids about energy efficiency, help students stand up to ripoffs landlords, and work on making textbooks more affordable.” – MASSPIRG
