First meeting of the year kicked off in the Olver Design Building
Officers introduced themselves to attendees and shared exciting plans for the semester and club membership information

Goodell Hall Site Tour 10/3
So much construction on campus! First building we got to explore was Goodell Hall which was in the demolition phase when we toured.
Dividing into groups, four tour guides led us through the structure explaining about its history and features.
Revit Tutorial 10/25
Members were introduced to the basics of BIM and Revit in this tutorial led by Autodesk Instructor of Revit Architecture Jeff Hanson
Jeff started with a presentation on some theory behind modeling and gave us a demo on modeling the Dubois Library!
Explore-A-City: Boston 11/4
Our first collaboration with the Wentworth CM Club, another AGC student chapter!
A day out to explore Boston started with greeting our friends over at Wentworth. Dimeo Construction then gave us an insightful tour of one of their projects on the WIT campus. After a lunch in the Fenway district we walked around the Boston area and left back to Amherst after a long day of fun!
Blueprint Workshop 11/16
Recurring guest speaker Kyle Murphy walked us through plan reading and gave each team a scavenger hunt to practice their fresh skills!
Members also enjoyed a fresh slice of pizza!

Final Chapter Meeting – Gingerbread Construction 9/13
Final chapter meeting of the year tested our members with their construction skills, what material you ask? Graham crackers!
Participants battled it all out for a gift card, here’s some of our favorite structures!
