Maria Elena Oliveri (Co-PI) has extensive experience (a) conducting research bridging the disjuncture between academic and workplace contexts and applying that experience to support research innovationsrelated to the teaching, learning, and assessment of underserved learners;(b) leading multidisciplinary teams in the development of authentic and contextualized scenario- based tasks designed to assess 21st century skills; and (c) conducting research on the assessment of all learners (particularly English learners, international students, and minoritized populations).
