Rae Nelson has more than 25 year of leadership experience in the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors with a focus on workforce and education policy and practice. She served at the White House as Associate Director for Education Policy where her portfolio included adult literacy and workforce development. She also served as Vice President/ Executive Director of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Center for Workforce Preparation facilitating initiatives for employers of all sizes to attract, retain and develop employees to their full potential and working on related federal legislation. Areas of expertise include project management, job profiling and workforce assessment, competency model development, workforce and education policy, andcommunications.
