Kayaking and First Flight

Itinerary

Observations

  • Bobby, our kayak tour leader, was an excellent natural history guide.
  • We managed to miss most of the rain.
  • The Wright brothers, Wilbur and Orville, were two amazing dudes.
  • Sixty-six years after the first 12-second flight in 1903, men walked on the moon.
  • Pelicans are not black but a legend persists that one helped rescue men from the sea.
  • The Wright brothers telegraphed Dayton of their success from Lifesaving Station #6.
  • By chance, we happened to witness the beautiful sunset.
