• The ferry to Ocracoke Island is free.
• Nutrias (Myocastor coypus) are rodents not native to North America.
• The Graveyard Museum is free; the exhibits were educational and entertaining.
• We were in one of the last groups of the day to climb the Hatteras Lighthouse.
• Scuba divers interested in wrecks might enjoy diving off North Carolina.
