Shortly after breakfast, the morning clouds dissipated, and the day turned hot and sunny. Gloria packed, and I prepared a lunch for her to eat on the road.

By 10:15 we were on our way to Bradley; traffic slowed near Exit 6 on the Pike and also at the Agawam exit on 91 south, but we made good time and arrived at the airport shortly before noon.

Then it was time to say goodbye. The week had flown by! I really enjoyed our time together, and I hope she can return to visit. At that time, perhaps my cat Karim will remember her and won’t hide under the covers. I’ll certainly look forward to seeing Gloria again.
