Duck Research Pier and the Boardwalk

Itinerary

Observations

  • I am not any good at tennis.
  • Duck Pier is a leading facility for data collection about waves, winds, tides and currents.
  • The Town of Duck has done a great job with their Boardwalk.
  • Built by the Town, the osprey nesting platforms are actually used by the birds.
  • The Outer Banks is known for seafood restaurants.
