Adobe Exercises – Indesign

Flyer Exercise

The flyer was created in Adobe InDesign in which I used techniques I learned from the Illustrator designs to form a advertising flyer for the “Night of Fright” event hosted by the TCSA and VSA club. The idea of the exercise was to use various aspects of InDesign such as the path finder panel and other image manipulation tools to create a page used for promoting some event.

Book Exercise

The Book design was created in Adobe InDesign in which I used skills such as paragraph style manipulation, master pages, and various text adjustment techniques. The idea of this exercise was to learn the process of creating a book by using the various technological autobiographies from fellow students.

The idea for this section of the exercise was to create some new paragraph styles and glyphs to form our own book design.

Magazine Exercise

The magazine was created in Adobe InDesign in which the skills from all the previous exercises were used including new techniques such as text wrapping, manipulating text frames, and page layers. The idea of this exercise was to form a magazine based on some text I previously wrote using everything I’ve learned so far in both Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign.
