My wife, Margi Caplan, served for many years as the Membership and Marketing Director at the Smith College Museum of Art. Since retiring in 2021, she has earned a teaching certificate for ESL, and is active in a local political action organization, Hampshire Huddle. She is an avid hiker and swimmer.
My daughter, Nora Caplan-Bricker, is currently an editor at Jewish Currents. She is also a free lance journalist, essayist, and critic whose work has appeared in the Washington Post magazine, the New Yorker online, the Atlantic, Outside, the Point, and many more. She graduated from Yale University in 2012 and completed an MFA at Emerson College in 2018.
My son, Adam Caplan-Bricker, is currently a paralegal and civil rights investigator at the Mass Fair Housing Center in Holyoke. He will start law school at Boston University in the fall. He graduated from MIT in 2016, majoring in mathematics and music.
