Nursing Honors Student
I am an undergraduate nursing student currently in my senior year at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. After graduation I am hoping to become a perioperative or emergency care nurse. I chose to go into the nursing field because of my time as a pediatric patient in the Boston Children’s Hospital and how much of a difference my own nurses made to me.
I am assisting Dr. Briere and the rest of the team in a systematic review of breastmilk, in which we analyze how the different bioactive components in breastmilk change under different storage methods over time.
