UMass Cognitive Scientists

UMass Cognitive Science brings together over 60 faculty and many graduate students who study cognition in a wide range of disciplines: Communication Disorders, Computer Science, Education, Linguistics, Music, Neuroscience, Philosophy and Psychology. We have a rich history of interdisciplinary collaboration, particularly in the areas of language, memory, learning, conceptual knowledge, auditory perception and visual perception. We continue to push the frontiers of our understanding of the workings of the human mind, including research in the rapidly developing areas of cognitive neuroscience and computational cognitive science.
