Meeting with a funding agency program officer can be a useful part of the grant preparation process. To facilitate these meetings, the Initiative in Cognitive Science offers grants of up to $400 to faculty wishing to travel to meet with a program officer in order to discuss a grant proposal in cognitive science. These grants are subject to the condition that matching funds are provided by the faculty member’s department or college/school.
