class 14 social media repping democracy?

“With liberty and justice for all.”  Pledge of Allegiance, 1892

Survey your media screens to consider how discourses of democracy circulate on your social media streams.  This might be expressed around issues of politics, activism, charity, civic engagement, societal concerns, news, and social critique, including parody and other forms of performance (visual, rhetorical) that address social issues, e.g. memes.  And do a search for posts related to the topic group that you met in class 10 (10.5.21):  Social media & Democracy, Sexism + Rape Culture, Youth economic precarity,  Sports.
