Chakai never imagined that a community organization could inspire change in her heart. Having grown up with turbulence and uncertainty, she did not easily let other people in. Chakai has always been committed to community work, but it wasn’t until working with Community Alliance that she understood the love and mutual support that are the life blood of community work.
