When: Wednesday September 16th @ 7pm (Callbacks will be Thursday September 17th)

Where: Curry Hicks Cage (Click here for a detailed map of campus)

During auditions you will have to show us a triple pirouette, fouettes, turns in second, side leap, toe touch, and a switch leap. We would also love to see any other advance skills that you may have such as a leg extension, a switch strattle, quarter fouettes, any gymnastic skills, etc. Keep in mind, the more advanced skills we see, the better. We will also be teaching you a short routine, therefore you do not need to come prepared with a solo.

Being a member of this team requires hard work and commitment but it all pays off when we perform at UMass games and even more so when we travel to Daytona, Florida for NDA Nationals in Spring!

Check out our Frequently Asked Questions webpage for details about auditions.

If you have any other questions you can email our captain, Kelly Pinola: kpinola@student.umass.edu

Dance Team Alum on Bravo!

There seems to be a big dance craze on television right now.  Besides the dance shows that have been on for a couple of seasons like “So You Think You Can Dance” and “Dancing With The Stars,” MTV recently came out with a new show called “Randy Jackson Presents America’s Best Dance Crew,” Lifetime made “You’re Mama Don’t Dance” and now Bravo is adding to the ranks.  Their new dance show is called “Step It Up and Dance.”

What’s exciting about this new show is that one of our dance team alum is one of the twelve contestants!
