Titi Bekele, second year doctoral student in Developmental Science, will present her Master’s thesis project titled “Transactional Relations between Parenting, Children’s Self-Regulation, and Later Autistic Traits in Children” at the 2024 IASSIDD conference, held in Chicago August 5-8. In this study, she is exploring differences in the relationship between parenting behaviors and children’s emotional self-regulation for children with and without autistic traits.
