StrideSync

Abstract — Some of the most common running injuries are knee and shin injuries. With proper data those runners could make more informed decisions towards their form and training load. Much of the data and metrics we aim to provide has previously been limited to the laboratory environment which is both time consuming, for the scientists and the runner, and expensive. We present StrideSync, a gait analysis tool which aims to bridge this gap for users to receive certain metrics while still being able to go out and enjoy their runs. As runners ourselves, we believe this data that we provide will be highly beneficial to our training and keeping us injury free.
