DewBusters

Abstract: The persistence of stagnant dew on athletic grounds poses a substantial hazard, potentially leading to the growth of fungus and a decline in the pitch’s overall health. Consequently, the need for daily dew dispersal is paramount, particularly during the off-season, demanding the utilization of various equipment to maintain an ideal environment for sports activities. Throughout the history of soccer, dew dispersal techniques have remained largely manual, unaffected by technological progress. This project’s objective is to modernize the traditional dew dispersal method, enhancing ground maintenance through the introduction of DewBusters—an autonomous two-rover system designed to efficiently disperse dew from soccer fields
