James K. Boyce, economics and fellow of the Political Economy Research Institute, and Raymond S. Bradley, distinguished professor of geosciences and director of the Climate System Research Center, have written an op-ed calling for the state legislature to enact a carbon tax, which they believe will reduce emissions and boost the state’s economy.
