Trials: American History in Video, Anthropology Online, Manuscript Women’s Letters and Diaries

The Libraries are offering trials for three Alexander Street Press databases through April 8th, 2012:

  • American History in Video  presents historical events as covered over time through commercial and governmental newsreels, archival footage, public affairs footage, and important documentaries.  Please send comments to Jim Kelly, Humanities Research Services Librarian, 413-545-3981.
  • Anthropology Online presents written ethnographies, field notes, seminal texts, memoirs, and contemporary studies covering human behavior across the world. Please send comments to Liz Fitzpatrick, Anthropology Liaison Librarian, 413-545-5963.
  • Manuscript Women’s Letters and Diaries presents the personal writings of women of the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries from the holdings of the American Antiquarian Society. Please send comments to Beth Lang, Women’s Studies Liaison Librarian, 413-545-6890.
