Trial for Data-Planet

The Libraries now have a trial for Data-Planet, a searchable collection of 90+ billion, officially sourced data sets covering 16 subject areas. Statistical data from organizations such as United Nations Economic Commission of Europe, international stock exchanges, the International Monetary Fund, and many U.S. Government organizations is standardized and organized for discovery by subject, date, geography, source organization, title and more. Subjects include food & agriculture, housing & construction, prices, consumption & cost of living, energy resources & industries, and others. You can view the data sets by geographical mapping, ranking,  and time series. The data can be viewed, downloaded or printed. Each data set has a Digital Object Identifier (DOI).

Data-Planet is on trial through December 31, 2013. Contact Mike Davis, Business Reference Librarian, at 413-545-6822 with your feedback or questions.
