Trial for Digital National Security Archive

The Libraries now have a trial to The Digital National Security Archive, which contains the most comprehensive set of declassified government documents available. The resource now includes 38 collections consisting of over 94,000 meticulously indexed documents, with more than 650,000 total pages. Each of these collections, compiled by top scholars and experts, exhaustively covers the most critical world events, countries, and U.S. policy decisions from post World War II through the 21st century.

Trial for Shen Bao

The Libraries now have trial for Shen Bao. Shen Bao, known in English as Shanghai News, was a newspaper published from April 30, 1872 to May 27, 1949 in Shanghai, China. The influence of the newspaper in early 20th century Shanghai was such that Shen Bao zhi, literally “Shen-pao paper”, became a generic term for newspaper or newsprint.

Trial for Renmin Ribao (Green Apple version)

The Libraries now have trial for Renmin Ribao (Green Apple version). The People’s Daily is a daily newspaper in the People’s Republic of China. The paper is an organ of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), published worldwide with a circulation of 3 to 4 million. Started in 1946 and continues.

Trial for Jazz Discography

The Libraries now have trial for Jazz Discography, one of the world’s largest and most complete source of information about jazz records and jazz recording sessions, including detailed bibliographic listings for over 365,000 jazz works from 1896-present, released as 78s, 45s, LPs, and compact discs.

Trial for GREENR – Global Reference on the Environment, Energy and Natural Resources

The Libraries now has a trial for GREENR, a database of analysis, academic journals, news, case studies, legislation, conference proceedings, primary source documents, statistics, and multimedia covering environmental issues. You can browse by topics, such as acid rain, aquifers, grasslands, solid waste and wetlands; search by keyword, document title, publication title, place or person name, etc.; or view topics plotted on a world map. The site also includes the GREENR blog.

Trial for Berg Fashion Library

The Libraries have a trial for Berg Fashion Library which offers a combination of images, e-books, the Berg Encyclopedia of World Dress and Fashion, and other fashion reference sources. Students and scholars in disciplines as diverse as anthropology, art history, history, sociology, geography, folklore, museum studies, theatre, and cultural studies as well as fashion and textiles will find the Berg Fashion Library of interest.
