The Historical Pittsburgh Courier is considered the leading U.S. newspaper for the African American community in the 20th century. Coverage in this online version is from 1911-2002. You can search by keywords and limit by date or document type (e.g. article, editorial cartoon, birth notice, real estate transaction, etc.)

Company and Industry Research with Historical Annual Reports, 1844-

The Libraries have added Historical Annual Reports, 1844 – to our online collections. You can find annual reports for 800 U.S. companies, some going back as far as 1844. Data provided includes financials, Fortune 500 ranking, industry classification, key people, geographic location, etc. and these are indexed for search. You can also browse by company name, industry or date.

Trial for Early American Newspapers, Series 1-7

Early American Newspapers, Series 1-7 covering 1690-1922 are provided by Readex’ America’s Historical Newspapers. You can search using date, presidential era, article type (e.g. election returns, shipping news, matrimony notices, etc.), language (e.g. Japanese, Shawnee, French, Spanish,  etc.), place of publication, and newspaper title limits.

Trial of LexisNexis Congressional

LexisNexis Congressional provides a comprehensive record of all Senate and House committee hearings, prints,  documents and reports since 1970. You can search for legislative histories, bills and laws, and look up committee memberships in both chambers. LexisNexis Congressional also includes the daily Congressional record and rules.

ATLA Historical Monographs Collection: Series 1 and II on Trial

The American Theological Library Association (ATLA) Historical Monograph Collection consists of Series I and Series II which provide indexing and abstracts of a combined 29,000 titles focused on religion and theology. Series I covers books published between the 13th Century and 1893. Series II covers titles published between 1894 and 1923.
