The Celebration is taking place via Zoom on Wednesday May 5th at 2:00pm, and all are welcome to come and congratulate the EnviSci Class of 2021, and wish them luck in their future endeavors.

Take a break from your studies and come enjoy a hike with the environmental science peer advisors! We will be hosting a walk around the woods behind Sylvan on Saturday, March 20th at 1:30 P.M. Bring your field guides and binoculars (if you have them), and masks. Anyone in the major is invited, just make sure you reserve a spot first!

Also note that strict COVID-19 safety protocols will be in place including mask wearing and social distancing for the entire duration of the walk. We will also be checking everyone’s COVID Compliance Check Mark before the walk begins. In the event the event cannot be held on March 20th (bad weather, new COVID lockdown, etc.), the event will be held on Saturday March 27th.
Come join the EnviSci Peer Advisors on Wednesday March 3rd, at 7:00 pm to watch and discuss a handful of videos on topics ranging from nuclear energy to the environmental impacts of your dietary choices! This is an excellent opportunity to meet other students in the major, and learn about topics related to environmental science in an informal setting.
Join us this Thursday at 6:00 pm for the EnviSci Peer Networking Night! You will get the chance to speak with upperclass students about their experiences with the major, as well as related research, internship and volunteer experiences. If you’re looking for any of these opportunities, this event is a great chance to help you get started, and to connect you with other students in the major.
