What is Formula SAE?
The Formula SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) competition is a collegiate motorsport racing series that gives students the opportunity to design and build their own Formula style race cars and compete with teams from around the world. Every season, over fifteen international competitions are held where teams will test their project management skills by balancing cost and performance. The exposure of this experience in a university setting will provide students with the necessary problem-solving skills for a career in engineering. In order to have a strong performance at the competition, teams will strategize how to gain the maximum number of points in all categories.
