The GWIS Finance committee is looking for YOUR help in launching an exciting new crowd-funding campaign to fundraise for GWIS! The campaign will take place through UMass MinuteFund, a Kickstarter-like platform for groups at UMass to launch crowd-funding initiatives.
We are looking for 4-5 volunteers to participate in formulating ideas for the campaign, managing the site, putting together a promotional video, encouraging friends, family, and colleagues to donate and spread the word, and interfacing with UMass officials. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills, network within the university, get more involved with GWIS, and impact the future of our organization. The team of volunteers will meet during the summer to prepare for the launch of this initiative in the fall.
