Hadley has a number of museums dedicated to preserving and sharing its history.  The Hadley Farm Museum, established in the 1930’s contains an extraordinary collection of agricultural implements and other artifacts associated with rural life.  The Porter-Phelps-Huntington House interprets the history of one of Hadley’s leading families of the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries through the farms, Forty Acres.  The Hadley Historical Society collects objects and papers that document the town’s history.  Their collections are currently houses on the 2nd floor of the Goodwin Memorial Library and is open by appointment
