I joined this group because I believe open inquiry is inseparable from equity, helps to build respect and trust, and is a foundation for the pursuit of knowledge in civil society. I believe in conversation with those whom we disagree and that recognizing diversity of thought and experience is what leads to a more just and equitable society, and also to progress in our collective work as scientists.
