Read on for more information about Screencasting and this event.

What is a Screencast? A “Screencast” is a digital video recording of a computer screen, which often includes audio narration. Screencasts are a popular way to distribute PowerPoint lectures (with voice) via the Web, as well as for the creation of tutorials or other instructional materials.

In this overview we will look at creating screecasts, and how they can be used for instruction.

AGENDA:
Professors Scott Garman and Karsten Theis, both from Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, will discuss how they use screencasting for tasks such as capturing lectures for posting, and creating tutorials. They will also discuss how they juggle screencasting with other connected technology such as PRS and Tablet PCs.
