As the Spring 2013 semester is well underway, we would like to reminder i>clicker users about some important updates.
Download the New i>clicker 6.2.3 Software
We have updated to i>clicker version 6.2.3. This new version provides improvements over the previous version, including improved performance and stability with Self-Paced Polling, Numeric Reponse, and Results Chart interactivity.
Before downloading the new i>clicker 6.2.3 software, we ask that you back up your i>clicker data and uninstall the current version of i>clicker. After backing up your i>clicker data and removing the current version, download and install the updated i>clicker 6.2.3 software at:
http://www.oit.umass.edu/software/iclicker
Also remember that you can sync your Moodle class roster with i>clicker and upload clicker scores directly back to Moodle. For more information on how to add the i>clicker block to a Moodle course, see our Getting Started with i>clicker handout:
https://www.oit.umass.edu/audience-response-system
i>clicker Base Stations
To avoid frustration or in-class delays, please go to the classroom you will be teaching in to make sure it is equipped with an i>clicker base station. If you need an i>clicker base station or have one that you are not using in your classroom, please contact the Instructional Media Lab (413-545-2823 | instruct@oit.umass.edu).
Student Registration of i>clickers
Students register their clickers in a dedicated i>clicker block that you will need to add to your Moodle course. For instructions on how to add the i>clicker block to a Moodle course, see:
https://www.oit.umass.edu/support/ars/add-iclicker-block-moodle
Please be sure to let your students know that i>clicker registration should be done through Moodle, NOT through the online database registration at i>clicker.com.
For more information on how students register their i>clicker remotes in Moodle, see:

If you have any questions about updating to i>clicker 6.2.3, please contact the Instructional Media Lab (413-545-2823 | instruct@oit.umass.edu).
