ELI Annual Meeting 2013

This week, February 4 to February 6, the EDUCAUSE Learning Initiative (ELI) Annual Meeting 2013 is being held in Denver, CO (in person and online).

The theme of this year’s ELI meeting is “Advancing the Next Generation of Learning.”

Academic Computing staff  will be attending a number of online sessions on a variety of topics, including:

  • Student success
  • Digitial badges
  • Gamification principles in online courses
  • MOOCS
  • Approaches for developing and supporting faculty in online and blended learning
  • Promoting deep learning and critical thinking in open education
  • What does the next generation of learning going to look like?
  • Mobile devices for teaching learning

We are also looking forward to the release of the 2013  Horizon Report, an update on emerging technologies, instructional innovations, and challenges and opportunities for higher education.
