Do you have experience with or interest in teaching with Google Apps for Fall 2013? Join us for lunch!

Cheryl EraPhernalia Vintage-FlickrOn August 15, 2013, please join us at 12:00 p.m. for lunch and a discussion of Google Apps and online collaboration for course work.

This lunch will be the first in an ongoing series of Community of Practice meetings. The goal is to bring together faculty and instructors who have past experience using and/or an active interest in trying out Google’s online collaboration tools in their teaching and research activities during the Fall 2013 semester.

At this point, we are still developing our own understanding of what Google Apps at UMass Amherst can do. If you are interested in a clear survey of what is possible to do with Google Apps, we recommend waiting and attending our Google Apps for Education workshop, which will be held later in the academic year. At this workshop we will be able to clearly outline the possibilities and how to use Apps at UMass Amherst.
