Smartphones and tablets are important tool for students and faculty.  A number of applications for these devices help keep one organized, support efficiency, conserve resources and assist with production of materials.

Evernote is a cloud-based software service that allows note taking, archiving and syncing files across your devices. For those using multiple devices, Evernote makes it easier to access files, not need to email them to yourself or saving them on a thumb drive. There is a free version and premium option.

What is it?

What is it?

Google offers digitized books including textbooks downloadable to Apple and Android devices at a fraction of the cost of printed materials.
