This month’s featured researcher is Sunghoon Ivan Lee, who is an Associate Professor in the Manning College of Information and Computer Sciences. His lab develops novel digital sensors that can help with personal health monitoring and was recently awarded a large NIH grant to develop a way of tracking body movements as way to help with stroke survivors’ rehabilitation. Ivan is an author on a recent paper in the Journal of Neurology titled, Estimation of ataxia severity in children with ataxia-telangiectasia using ankle-worn sensors. He will also be the speaker on October 25th for Neuroscience and Behavior Seminar series.
