I am a Fluvial Geomorphologist and Hydrologist. I am a Adjunct Professor in the Department of Geosciences at UMass Amherst, and an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Earth and Environmental Science at Norwich University.
My research is funded by

- Federal Emergency Management Agency, in the RiverSmart group on the project Farms, Floods and Fluvial Geomorphology
Recently, I was a NCED2 post-doctoral researcher at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in the GeoSciences Department. I was a Ph.D. student in the Dartmouth Dept. of Earth Sciences (graduated June 2015), and I was a contract Research Scientist at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers with the Science and Technology Corporation. Prior to my PhD, I was a consultant in hydrology and geomorphology in California.
