- AI Application in Vegetable and Small Fruit Production
We would like to use Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) equipped with multispectral cameras to monitor crop health, detect stress in plants, estimate biomass and predict yield.
- Controlled Environment Agriculture
My lab is interested in how horticultural practices (e.g., light quality and quantity) impact the morphological attributes, yield, marketability, and phytonutrients of leafy greens including lettuce, basil, kale in greenhouse and indoor vertical farm systems
