I’m a member of the Department of Philosophy at The University of Massachusetts, Amherst. My main research area is the History of Early Modern Philosophy and I recently completed two books on philosophical debates about slavery and race in the 16th–18th centuries. I’m also the co-director of Question Everything, a summer philosophy program for high school students.
