Laboratory for the Scientific Study of Dance (LAB:SYNC) joins all of the University of Massachusetts Amherst in thanking and celebrating Dr. Pierre Rouzier for his indelible contributions and dedication to health, medicine, and community at UMass. Rouzier, Director of Athletic Medicine at UMass Amherst, is the Medical Co-Investigator for the National Endowment for the Arts Research Lab at UMass Amherst, LAB:SYNC, in which capacity he is currently supporting our clinical trial on dance participation in relation to various health outcomes among 18- to 85-year-old adults.
