LAB:SYNC is delighted to share that Dr. Aston K. McCullough will be presenting research from the National Endowment for the Arts Research Lab at the University of Massachusetts Amherst as part of an upcoming National Science Foundation workshop—Your Brain and Dance: 2022 International Workshop on the Neural and Social Bases of Creative Movement (April 7 to 10, 2022). In his talk, McCullough will share wearable sensor and video data collected during improvisational dance sessions, along with original LAB:SYNC software that facilitates the analysis of dance behavior using data acquired from various motion capture technologies. McCullough’s presentation will take place on April 8 as part of Session 3: AI, Robotics, Technology and Creative Movement.
