Five former UMass semanticists met in Barcelona last week to discuss the grammar of attitude ascriptions in a workshop organized by Marie Curie fellow Paula Menéndez Benito (Pompeu Fabra, 2005 UMass PhD) and Keir Moulton (Simon Fraser, 2009 UMass PhD). Paula is the leftmost panelist in the picture to the left. The other panelists in the picture are (in that order) Yael Sharvit (UCLA), Keir , Orin Percus (University of Nantes), and Ilaria Frana (Kore Enna, 2010 UMass PhD). Yael and Orin were both visiting professors for a year here at UMass.
