Kristen Syrett

We’ll meet at 12:25 (note the slight change of time) to get ready for Kristen Syrett’s colloquium on Friday (September 23). Everyone is welcome, even if you don’t usually attend the Semantics Workshop. Petr Kusliy will lead the discussion. Kristen recommended a short paper of hers and co-authors on the Acquisition of Japanese and English Comparatives to read as preparation. A longer version of this paper will appear in Natural Language Semantics. Kristen is a semanticist and psycholinguist who works at “the intersection of formal linguistic theory and careful psycholinguistic experimentation.”
