We the faculty would like to officially extend our deepest thanks to the graduate students, for all their outstanding work to make this year’s NELS such an incredible and memorable success.

Special thanks are especially owed to the members of the organizing committee: Thuy Bui, Alex Goebel, Rodica Ivan, Leland Kusmer, Jon Ander Mendia, Ethan Poole, Ekaterina Vostrikova, and Deniz Ozyildiz. We know that none of this weekend’s conference would been possible without all your work. You all truly excelled, and you should be incredibly proud of what you’ve done for our field!

We’d also like to extend a ‘thank you’ to everyone who provided ‘crash space’ to the visiting conference participants, thereby making this conference more affordable and accessible to all.
