Shelby Cox (class of 2018) has been named a UMass Rising Researcher. She is a major in Linguistics and Mathematics. Her primary advisor is Eric Sommers of Mathematics. In Linguistics, she has been an active researcher in both the Phonetics Lab and the Cognitive Science Lab, working with John Kingston and Brian Dillon. Congratulations Shelby!
