The annual Southern New England Workshop in Semantics (SNEWS) happened yesterday (12/02) at MIT, with the following presentations by UMass students:

• Zahra Mirrazi presented on “Neg-Raising in Farsi”,
• Alex Göbel and Christopher Hammerly talked about “A new perspective on Obviation in Ojibwe”, and
• Jyoti Iyer presented work on “Existential conflation in non-DE contexts”
