The five required courses listed below, plus seven additional courses numbered 300 and above in Linguistics and Psychology. A senior thesis may contribute up to six credits toward the 36 credits required for this major.

PSYCH 315 Cognitive Psychology
PSYCH 330 Physiological Psychology

Linguistics and Psychology majors are in the College of Humanities and Fine Arts and must satisfy the CHFA language requirement.
Junior Year Writing requirement:
The Junior Year Writing (JYW) requirement is met by taking LINGUIST 305. The Junior Year Writing requirement does not need to be satisfied in your junior year.
Common requirements for all majors:
A grade of C or better must be earned in any course used to satisfy major requirements.
College of Humanities and Fine Arts requirement:
- Foreign Language: All students must demonstrate proficiency in a foreign language at the intermediate level
