    Re the Berber syllabification:
    1. What prevents (kšM) from emerging in (17)?
    2. What is the evidence for syllable boundaries in ITB? [This question might look tangential, but if an argument relies on one extreme example, it seems to me important to make sure whether the example is sufficiently robust.]

    If we consider that the transcription systems developed so far are only meant to account for pitch accents that form phonological contrasts, one obvious and continuous problem with this is that the semantic contrasts of prosodic context are not as easily derivable as those of words or phrases. My curiosity is: In what way do we determine that a contour actually creates a phonological contrast?

    How is a MaxEnt system meaningfully different from regular batch-learning classifiers in the AI branch of computer science? What does it add to HG?
